April 11, 2012 in "Interfax-Azerbaijan" news agency was held a joint press conference of the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan O.Mischenko, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Resorts of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea M.Marinov and the Director General of " Dnepr-Beskyd " company O.Chebanenko.

During the press conference, O.Mischenko informed journalists on the outcome of the official visit of Ukrainian Prime Minister M.Azarov in Baku on April 3-4 this year. It was noted that the talks in Baku were successful and constructive. Ukraine and Azerbaijan agreed to intensify negotiations on the level of expert groups in all areas of bilateral cooperation, particularly in energy, aerospace, construction, agricultural, military, technological, cultural, educational and tourism sectors. The parties have stated the presence of a large potential, which will assist in the near future to increase the trade turnover between our countries in times.

During a press conference M.Marinov and O.Chebanenko talked about travel, health, and therapeutic potential of the Crimean and Truskavets. They stated that the current state of the tourism industry in Ukraine makes it possible to perform high-level reception of tourists both from near and far abroad. At the same time the Ukrainian Ambassador spoke about the positive changes that have taken place in the country on the eve of Euro 2012 and invited the citizens of Azerbaijan to visit the cities, which will held the European football championship.

At the end of the press conference, O.Mischenko answered journalists' questions, which related to the prospects of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations.
