A delegation of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, headed by Deputy Minister Natalia Denikeieva, visited Azerbaijan together with the team of the IT Ukraine Association.

The Ambassador of Ukraine, together with the delegation, held a productive meeting with Deputy Minister Samir Mammadov and the leadership of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, and the Agency for Sustainable and Operative Social Security. The parties discussed new formats of cooperation, exchange of experience, and joint steps in the development of the digital technology sector.

As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation in the field of electronic document management was signed between the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This is the first but very important step toward a long-term partnership.

Together with the IT Ukraine Association, the first Ukrainian-Azerbaijani IT Forum was held with the participation of leading Ukrainian companies. This marks the beginning of large-scale international cooperation in the IT sector. We intend to strengthen the presence of our companies in the Azerbaijani market and attract investments into Ukrainian startups.

The Ambassador of Ukraine, Yuriy Husyev, sincerely thanked Azerbaijani friends and colleagues for their assistance and support of Ukraine.
