During the meeting with the university administration, headed by Acting Rector Tetiana Kahanovska, the parties discussed the development of international educational and scientific cooperation, the expansion of the university’s partnership network, and new opportunities for the Karazin community.

Tetiana Kahanovska briefed the Ambassador on the results of the 2026 admission campaign. This year, more than 19,000 applications were submitted to Karazin University, representing a significant increase compared to previous years and demonstrating the high level of trust and interest among applicants in pursuing education at one of Ukraine’s leading universities.

Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev highlighted the significant achievements of Karazin University and its active role in the international academic and scientific community.

Particular attention during the meeting was paid to opportunities to deepen cooperation between the university, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad. This includes facilitating the development of new international partnerships and the implementation of joint educational and scientific projects not only in Azerbaijan, but also in other countries around the world.

“Ukraine has strong educational and scientific potential, and our common task is to help it develop, strengthen international ties, and create new opportunities for Ukrainian youth and the academic community,” said Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev.
