Today, a group of Ukrainian children from Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv regions set off for home after a successful stay in Azerbaijan, where they enjoyed a period of rest and rehabilitation.

Yesterday, Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev, accompanied by his wife and together with Ms. Alyona Aliyeva, had the pleasure of visiting the Ukrainian Center in Baku, meeting with the children and reaffirming just how important such initiatives are in supporting Ukrainian children who are going through difficult times as a result of Russia’s aggression.

“We sincerely thank Azerbaijan for its support for Ukraine, for its hospitality, kindness and care for Ukrainian children. Special thanks go to everyone involved in organizing these rest and rehabilitation programmes, helping children regain their strength, feel safe and return home with warm memories,” noted the Ambassador of Ukraine.

Friendship between Ukraine and Azerbaijan is, above all, about people, sincere hearts and meaningful action.
