The parties emphasized the importance of the productive negotiations between the leaders held today and coordinated further steps for the practical implementation of the agreements reached.
“I informed Minister Bayramov about the situation on the battlefield after the most difficult winter in our history: Ukraine is holding the line and forcing the aggressor to pay an ever higher price. I also briefed my colleague on the latest positive developments on our European integration path and Ukraine’s progress toward membership in the European Union.
We discussed priority areas of cooperation, including energy, humanitarian assistance, the economy, political dialogue, and the return of Ukrainian children.
I am grateful to Azerbaijan for its support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, for the provision of humanitarian assistance, and for its readiness to strengthen our bilateral relations,” Andrii Sybiha подчеркнул.
The countries also expanded their legal and contractual framework by signing six new agreements. One of them is the Treaty between Ukraine and the Republic of Azerbaijan on Legal Assistance in Civil and Commercial Matters, signed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs. It will facilitate judicial cooperation, promote business ties, and strengthen the strategic partnership.
