Today, Ukraine marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine — the Fundamental Law that became the legal foundation of the modern independent Ukrainian State.
On the eve of the holiday, the Embassy team, led by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, Yuriy Husyev, together with Ukrainian communities and organizations, as well as friends of Ukraine in Azerbaijan, gathered and laid flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko — a symbol of the indomitable Ukrainian spirit and the struggle for freedom.
During the ceremony, Commendations of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Commendations of the Embassy of Ukraine were presented to individuals whose work, dedication, and support have made a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation and to supporting Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
For 30 years, the Constitution of Ukraine has served as the foundation of our statehood, upholding freedom, independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Today, these values are defended by Ukrainian soldiers, while the entire nation demonstrates its commitment to them every day through unity and resilience.
On this festive day, we wish all Ukrainians strength, unity, and a just peace.
Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine!
Happy 30th Anniversary of the Fundamental Law of our State!
