On June 11 the Ukrainian Cultural Center (UCC), which functions at the Baku Slavic University (BSU) held a seminar dedicated to the life and creativity of the Ukrainian translator and writer M.Miroshnichenko. The seminar, which was attended by staff, students of BSU (specialty "regional studies "), and a representative of the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Director of UCC L.O.Kerimova introduced the major milestones biography and creativity M.Miroshnichenko. In particular, L.O.Kerimova stressed on N.Miroshnichenko’s contribution to the development of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani literary translation, importance in this context his main work - a collection of "Ontology Azerbaijani poetry." At the end, an employee of the Embassy of Ukraine presented a gift from the Ukrainian diplomatic mission in Baku for UCC - two copies of instructional books "Ukrainian lexicon."
