Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine R.Koshulynskyi met First Deputy Speaker of the Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Z.Askerov on 27 July, 2014 during a working visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Parties discussed inter-parliamentary cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Azerbaijan in bilateral and multilateral dimension.

The Parties expressed the importance of parliamentary assembly’s sessions as a platform to discuss main issues of international agenda, in particular Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to be held 28 June – 2 July 2014 inBaku.

The Parties stressed the importance of inter-parliamentary groups cooperation and paid attention to the issue of activation of mentioned mechanism.

 The Ukrainian Side expressed its readiness to receive Azerbaijani delegations headed by leadership of the Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan with an official visit in any appropriate for Azerbaijani Side time.
