September 18, 2012 Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Oleksandr Mischenko met with Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Khalaf Khalafov.

During the meeting issues of the current state of the bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan and prospects of its development in particular in political, economic, trade, energy, transport spheres were discussed.

Special attention was paid to the development of the treaty basis between Ukraine and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The meeting held an exchange of views on high level Ukraine-Azerbaijani events which will be held during the current year.
