October 23, 2012, in the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan was held a meeting of the Ambassador of Ukraine Mr. Alexander Mischenko with deputies of Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and representatives of the Apparatus led by the Head of the Apparatus Mr. Safa Mirzayev. Members of group for antiparliamentary cooperation with Ukraine of the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan Republic and its Head Mr. Eldar Ibrahimov were attended the meeting too.

The event was devoted to the parliamentary elections in Ukraine which will be held on October 28, 2012 and will be joined by deputies of Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan as international observers.

The issues on preparations to the parliamentary elections in Ukraine, joining deputies of Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan as international observers, the next steps of developing Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation between Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan were discussed during the event.
