The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan O.Mischenko has paid a working visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In the framework of the visit the negotiations with Chairman of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Supreme Assembly Vasif Talybov and Head of the Nakhchivan State University Isa Habibbeyli were held.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan laid flowers at the monument of the national wide leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and had an excursion in the Museum of Heydar Aliyev.

During the meeting with the Chairman of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Supreme Assembly it was agreed to accelerate the process of concluding an agreement about the cooperation between the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Besides the mentioned it was discussed the prospects and possible ways of developing contacts at the level of higher educational institutions of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

O.Mischenkohad also visited the city of Gulfa and got acquainted with the work of Azerbaijani-Iranian border crossing point.
