The meeting was arranged by Head of the Ukrainian Congress of Azerbaijan I.I.Yakovenko. A.P.Mischenko addressed the audience a welcoming speech, stating the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukrainians veterans' organizations, whose representatives are respected in the country, stressing the importance of patriotic education of the youth of today and to prevent distortion of historical facts aimed to underestimation or leveling heroism of the Great Patriotic War.
