During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation between the world-renowned Kharkiv Aviation Institute, which has educated generations of aviation professionals, and leading higher education institutions of Azerbaijan. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint educational and research projects, the expansion of academic exchanges for students and faculty, and the strengthening of partnerships in the fields of aviation and aerospace technologies. The participants agreed to coordinate their efforts and define concrete next steps to further enhance Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation in education and science.

The delegation of the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the Aerospace Modeling Festival 2026, which recently took place at Fuzuli International Airport and brought together participants from countries around the world.

As a result of the Festival, Ukraine won First Place in the nomination “Best Performance of Aerobatic Maneuvers,” demonstrating an outstanding level of professional training, technical excellence, and creativity. This achievement is yet another testament to the high standards of Ukraine’s engineering school and aviation education.
