Another group of Ukrainian children has just arrived in Baku. This time, they are from Dnipropetrovsk region and the city of Boyarka. Among them are children of Ukraine’s defenders, including those who are currently held captive by Russia or have been wounded.
The children will enjoy a well-deserved rest in the picturesque region of Gabala, receive health and rehabilitation support, and benefit from psychological assistance.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, a total of 722 Ukrainian children have already had the opportunity to rest and recover in Azerbaijan.
“We are sincerely grateful to the leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people for their solidarity, care, hospitality, and support for Ukrainian children. This is yet another manifestation of the genuine friendship between our peoples and the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Azerbaijan,” said Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev.
We thank Azerbaijan for giving Ukrainian children the opportunity to experience the joy of childhood once again!
