The discussion focused on the shared historical roots of Ukraine and Azerbaijan and their modern strategic partnership, the importance of mutual support for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation in the fields of economy, education, culture, and youth exchanges.

Special attention was paid to the role of the younger generation in strengthening Ukrainian-Azerbaijani relations. It is young people, their education, active civic engagement, and readiness for international dialogue that are laying a new foundation for the further development of the partnership between our countries.

The lecture provided an opportunity for students to learn more about modern Ukraine, our resistance to Russian aggression, our struggle for independence and territorial integrity, Ukraine’s foreign policy priorities, and global challenges.

“Ukraine and Azerbaijan share a strong historical foundation and have great potential to develop and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation. Mutual support, friendship between our peoples, and cooperation between the academic communities and young people of both countries are important components of this process.
