During the meeting, the Ambassador briefed his counterpart on the consequences of the latest criminal Russian attacks against peaceful Ukrainian cities. The parties also focused on issues related to deepening the Ukrainian–Azerbaijani strategic partnership, coordinating approaches and ensuring mutual support, including within international organizations, as well as on the positive results of bilateral cooperation achieved by the end of 2025.

Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev expressed his gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for its humanitarian assistance and consistent support for Ukraine, noting that Ukraine highly values the solidarity of Azerbaijan’s senior leadership and its people.
