Today, a meeting took place between the Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev and the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the field of education in 2025. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the support and assistance provided to Ukraine by the leadership and people of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Special attention was given to issues related to expanding bilateral cooperation in science and education in 2026. In particular, the discussion focused on the recognition of diplomas issued by Ukrainian higher education institutions, prospects for establishing double-degree programs between universities of Ukraine and the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as new opportunities for teaching the Ukrainian language in Azerbaijan.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in deepening educational and scientific contacts as an important component of the development of humanitarian dialogue between the two countries.
