Together with the Azerbaijani people, the Embassy of Ukraine solemnly commemorates the tragic events of January 20, 1990, which resulted from the brutal actions of the troops of the Moscow regime.

We stand in solidarity with the people of Azerbaijan and, with deep respect, bow our heads in remembrance of the innocent victims.

The memory of the heroes who gave their lives for freedom unites Ukraine and Azerbaijan and strengthens the mutual friendship between our peoples — a friendship built on the shared defense of sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence, and human dignity.
