As of 07:00 a.m. on July 3, 2026, 30 people had been killed in Kyiv as a result of Russia’s missile and drone strike. Eighty-five people were injured, including two children. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
The attack caused extensive damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine. Emergency responders continue to clear the rubble, under which people may still be trapped.
We express our sincere and deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives. Russia must be held accountable for every human life brutally taken.
As a sign of mourning, on July 3 the State Flag of Ukraine has been lowered at the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan, and an electronic Book of Condolences has been opened.
Those wishing to express their condolences may send a message to the Embassy’s official email address: [email protected].
