Today, a new shipment of humanitarian assistance for the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure is being urgently dispatched from the Sumgait Technological Park on the instruction of the senior leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The shipment includes:
• 11 high-capacity generators and 5 transformers;
• more than 27,000 meters of cables and wires;
• 29 low-voltage panels.

This assistance package is very timely and represents an extremely important contribution to the restoration of Ukraine’s energy system and the strengthening of its energy security following Russian terrorist attacks.

Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev expressed his sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the entire leadership, and the people of Azerbaijan for their continued support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

“This once again confirms the true strategic partnership and strong friendship between our countries, as well as our readiness to support one another in difficult times and jointly bring a just peace closer,” Yuriy Husyev noted.
