The Ukrainian Center in Baku, together with the Coordinating Volunteer Headquarters, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan, is joining the global campaign “Warm for Ukraine (WarmthForUkraine)”, initiated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha.
The goal of the campaign is to raise funds for generators and heating equipment for Ukraine.
We sincerely thank the leadership and the people of Azerbaijan for their support and for the energy equipment provided to Ukraine. Thanks to the assistance of Azerbaijan and other partners (in particular, in Poland more than 4 million zlotys, which is nearly 2 million manats, were collected within a few days from individuals and organizations for generators for Kyiv) Ukraine is restoring its energy system after Russian terrorist attacks and continues to defend its freedom and independence. However, needs increase after every enemy attack. We call on all caring individuals, businesses, and organizations to respond to this appeal.
This assistance is critically needed right now. The funds raised will be used to purchase generators, heating equipment, and other energy sources directly for those in Ukraine who need them most today. Every contribution is a share of warmth and light that will help Ukrainian families and children get through this difficult time.
This is not just about donations. It is about a sense of unity and support, about realizing that Ukraine is not alone. It is about faith that Russia’s winter terror will not break our people, and that the response to the cruelty will be even greater, and it will give more strength to the unity of brotherly nations and the entire world in support of Ukraine —both at the global level and in human hearts.
We sincerely thank Azerbaijan and all benefactors who demonstrate solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
