107 years ago, the Act of Unification united the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the West Ukrainian People’s Republic into a single Ukrainian State.

Today, unity is not just a page of our history. It is the daily words and actions that make Ukraine stronger.

On Unity Day, the Embassy team led by the Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev, together with representatives of Ukrainian communities and organizations, gathered at the monument to Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko in Baku. We honored the memory of the Heroes with a minute of silence, laid flowers at the monument to the Great Kobzar, sincerely thanked Azerbaijan for its support of Ukraine, and, holding hands, formed a living chain of unity — a symbol of the unity of Ukrainians all over the world.

Together we are strong. Together we are united. Together we are invincible!
