Today, on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev visited the Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan and held a substantive and productive meeting with the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mariana Kuyundzhich.

The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, further coordination of efforts, and strengthening comprehensive support for Ukraine in the face of Russia's ongoing aggression.

The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed his sincere gratitude to the European Union for its unwavering support for Ukraine, including in the political, economic, energy, humanitarian, and security spheres, as well as for its consistent solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

Particular attention during the meeting was devoted to enhancing cooperation in Azerbaijan, coordinating joint initiatives, and fostering closer interaction aimed at deepening energy, trade, economic, and transport cooperation, as well as strengthening security and stability in the region.

Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev expressed his sincere appreciation to Ambassador Mariana Kuyundzhich for her continued support for Ukraine, close cooperation, and constructive dialogue.
