Yesterday, Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev visited the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Azerbaijan, where he signed the Book of Condolences on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Amir of the State of Qatar, who led the country from 1995 to 2013.

During his meeting with H.E. Ambassador Mohammed Hamad Saad Al-Fuhayd Al-Hajri, Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Husyev expressed his sincere condolences to the leadership and people of the State of Qatar, paying tribute to the memory of a distinguished statesman whose contribution to the country's development and modernization has left a lasting mark on its history.

Taking the opportunity, Ambassador Husyev also expressed his gratitude to the State of Qatar for its steadfast support for Ukraine, its active humanitarian assistance, and its efforts aimed at promoting peace and strengthening international cooperation.
