Today, as a sign of mourning for those killed as a result of the horrific Russian terrorist attack on Ternopil committed on 19 November 2025, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, is opening a Book of Condolences in electronic format.
According to official information, at least 25 people were killed in Ternopil, including 3 children. Another 73 people, among them 15 children, were injured.
Ukraine calls on the international community to clearly condemn this latest act of Russian terror, ensure justice, and deliver a resolute response. Today, this issue will be raised at a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, and it is also expected to be considered at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.
Our heartfelt condolences go to the families and loved ones of the victims. Ukraine will continue working with its partners to strengthen air defence and protect our citizens.
